The Next-Level Belt Bag

Never in my life did I think I would wear a “fanny pack”… which has now evolved into a “belt bag”! But I think it’s safe to say that the look of a fanny pack has come a looooong way and new the trend has spread like wildfire.

So when did I switch over to the dark side?! The answer is simple… when I realized I wanted to be hands free when going out!

When I go out, I typically go out dancing! For those that know me, know that I will dance ALL NIGHT LONG no matter what! But there’s nothing I hate more than holding a bag while dancing my heart out! Usually I’d beg my friends to stash my wallet or keys in their purse so I could avoid holding anything, but that was getting old! I needed a solution…. my solution is the belt bag, BUT not just any ordinary one, I wanted something that could be considered next-level!

When I came across this Crocodile faux skin bag from And Other Stories, I knew it was meant to be! It was exactly what I was looking for! Cool and unique yet practical as it can double as a belt bag or a clutch when I want to switch things up!  Now I’ve found myself reaching for it not just when I go dancing but also for a long day of running errands, shopping or going to the farmer’s market.

All I can say is that It’s a life changer and looks really cool when styled right! Dare I say it, but I think the belt bag may be in the running for accessory of the year!
