Summer Fitness Series X FLYWHEEL

Flywheel ride is an intense and empowering cardio workout instructed by the best of the best trainers. Each ride is a unique and sensational full body workout experience! Now, I’m not going to lie, I was extremely nervous to try indoor cycling. For cardio, I usually enjoy some sort of dancing or running activity, but let me tell you… I loved it!!! From the moment I walked into Flywheel Sports, I was so impressed. Everything from the technology, employees, and equipment is professional and top notch.

Making my first experience as smooth as possible they began with sending me an email with what to expect from the moment I walked in. This, I loved!! I can’t be the only one that gets a little intimidated when walking into a new gym, so this email really put me at ease. Their registration process is awesome!  You register and schedule your class online, reserve your FREE Flywheel shoes and select your spot (so you don’t have to worry about running in to grab a bike, haha). Arriving to Flywheel studios, you’ll see computers to check yourself in. Grab your FREE Flywheel shoes, put your belongings into a complimentary locker, grab a towel, and head right into class!

Now if you’re inexperienced with cycling like me, no need to worry! Their staff will help you through everything, teaching you how to work your high tech bike! They truly make you feel comfortable and excited for this workout! Then it’s GO time!! 45 minutes of nonstop cardio in the dark, with incredible music surrounding you, and an empowering instructor! It was exhausting, intense, and amazing!! I left there dripping in sweat! (I know…ewwww). WOW what an awesome class and there’s nothing better than feeling accomplished after a crazy workout! I could not be happier with my first indoor cycling experience!

The next day, I went back for more!! But this time I did the Flybarre workout! I’m not going to lie, the flybarre workout was my absolute FAVORITE!!! It might be because of my background in dance, but I’m absolutely in LOVE with this class!! Flybarre incorporates the best of circuit training, dance, yoga, Pilates, strength building and stretching into a 60 or 45 minute group class! I cannot rave enough about it!  It’s a small class size (which made it more personalized) with an amazing instructor who pushes and encourages you throughout (shout out to my instructor Pamela)! The intense interval exercises make those muscles lean, toned, strong and elongated!! You truly feel the BURN!! After class I left feeling like a new person!! It felt so amazing to have such an intense and rewarding workout!

I could not have been more thrilled with my Flywheel Sports experience! Flywheel truly embodies what the Summer Fitness Series is all about…. Staying motivated and confident to feel our best! (:
