Happy Friday everyone! Today I’m doing things a little differently on the blog! I’ve been getting a ton of questions on my comments section and instagram pics on how I do my hair, what products I use, and what size iron I have! So I came up with the idea to combine a blog post and little video tutorial on how to accomplish the chic messy beachy waves look!

This look is so easy and only takes about 10-15 mins! It doesn’t get better than that!!
The products and iron I use are listed below in the widget! So if you want to learn some tips, follow along and check out the quick little video tutorial!

P.S. I’m so sorry for the quality of the first video! My good video camera was giving me some major difficulties haha!! Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this post and have a fantastic day!(:

If I want loose curls I use the Conair Infiniti Pro Curling Iron- 1.5” but what I’m using today and what I I usually use on my hair is the Conair 1”.

STEPS:

1. Start off by grabbing a random piece and wrapping it around the iron. I do wrap it AWAY from my face simply because I like the wave and effect it leaves.

2.  I hold it there for about 8-10 seconds. You can leave it there a little longer if you prefer, but I wouldn’t leave it longer than 15 sec. We don’t want our hair to burn off!! So be careful! haha!

3. Tip: It always helps to get different, random size pieces and sections to curl! This helps give you the voluminous and full effect!

4. Run your fingers through the curls and shake it out a bit. I always like to add a little hairspray under the sides, bottom, and top giving my hair a little lift!

5. Shake it out a little more and you’re done!! You’ve got the messy waves look!!
