If there is one denim trend to try this season, it’s definitely the high waisted cropped flares look. It’s a fresh new twist to the ’70s inspired flared denim staple. Not only is this look totally street style material, but it’s also the perfect way to show off your shoes!! I just love how it can be worn not only with a pair of killer heels but also with boots, wedges, flats and even sneakers, taking your look from dressy to casual while keeping you looking cool and on trend. To keep my all black outfit interesting, I mixed different textures and got a little daring by layering a velvet bralette (shop here) under a cropped lace top. As you probably know already I have so much love for delicate lace pieces. I really like how the sheerness of this top keeps the look light. I wore black strappy heels and opted for this edgy embossed leather clutch, to add a little toughness to this feminine look. Some gold arm swag and my Anarchy Street shark tooth necklace were the finishing touches!
