2020, Let’s Do This: Intentions & Resolutions

2019 was by far the fastest year I have EVER lived! I mean, how the heck have we just started a new year, a new decade, a new era…It’s mind blowing!

But honestly, I have a really great feeling about what’s to come. I’m so pumped to dive into 2020, but before I do, I wanted to share some intentions and resolutions I plan on taking into the new year with me.

  • Make it a point to do something every single day that will advance my career. This year I’m putting everything I got into building my brand/blog and working my butt off. I decided to be the girl who goes for it and I’m going for it big time! If you’re in need of a perspective refresh and an extra push of motivation to be the best version of yourself in anything that you do… I really recommend the books below!

  • Wake up every morning and start off my day by asking, “God, please enter my mind before I do” – naturally Steven Tyler gave me this idea and I absolutely loved it… But if you need a little extra dose of God, I can’t recommend the book “Jesus is Calling” enough. I love to read this every morning. It’s the perfect way to set the tone for your day.

  • I want to let go of stressing over every little thing… that can STAY in 2019 thank you very much. It takes the same amount of energy to worry as it does to be positive. Focus on the positive and positive things will happen.
  • Travel more. I’m making this year a travel year. Lots of different locations in mind. I’m thinking of visiting my besties in Cali and New York, considering a road trip to Nashville in December and of course a quick visit to Sin City (only to see Aerosmith) wouldn’t hurt. But what I’m really hoping for is to go back to Europe, thinking maybe Italy/ the Amalfi Coast. Any suggestions?
  • Be where my feet are… I have a habit of always fantasizing about my future. And even though it’s absolutely necessary to have goals and milestones to look forward to, it’s even more important to enjoy what you have right in front of you. So for 2020 I want to enjoy being present more.
  • Last, but not least, I want to spend 2020 surrounded by family and loved ones. Nothing in this life would be worth a thing if I didn’t have them.

Before I go, I do want to wish you all a very Happy New Year! I can never thank you all enough for the endless support you guys constantly show me. I know that I am only able to do this as my career because of you guys and I will forever be grateful for that. Thank you a million times! Cheers to you, good health, safety and happiness! May 2020 be YOUR year!

P.S. I would LOVE to hear some of the resolutions you have for yourself, so drop some in the comments below!
