Winter Must-Have: Leopard Coat

It’s been so cold lately here in California! So when it’s more than chilly out, I grab the one coat that seems to be taking over this season… my leopard print coat. It’s anything but boring and probably one of the coziest coats in my winter wardrobe.  If you think about it, leopard never really goes away. It always makes its way back around season after season and is quickly becoming a closet basic. Mine is from Zara, but there’s an almost identical piece at Shein and NastyGal. 
When wearing a heavier coat like this, I always like to keep my bottom layers light and form fitting to balance out my outfit. Here I styled it with a fitted ivory  turtleneck sweater, uneven hem jeans, my go-to black booties and my favorite gold Gucci belt. 
 
Whether wearing your leopard coat out for a day of shopping or jet-setting to a chilly destination, there’s a way for every cool girl to take on this popular trend.
