If you follow me on Instagram and caught my IG stories from last night, than you probably saw my mom’s impressive collection of records from when she was younger! Guys, it’s seriously so incredible. What’s even more incredible though, is the fact that most of her favorite songs are my favorite songs too. The music she’d play when she was younger is literally all the music I listen to now. So it got me inspired for today’s post.
First off, I play music… like, ALL the time. Walking to class…music is on, cleaning my room…music is on, taking a shower… music is definitely on. It’s very rare for me to do anything without my favorite tunes belting out in the background. Music is just so powerful to me, as I’m sure it is to many other people. Just one song can totally lift my mood. So in honor of today’s outfit and my love affair with band tees I’m sharing my top favorite songs that make me the happiest! These are the songs that take me to another place and/or a specific moment in my life when I’m listening to them. These are the songs that I would NEVER dare skip over when they come on Pandora or Spotify hahaha!
I’m like a jukebox and honestly listen to every genre, but personally I’m an oldies type of girl. I’m talking 60s, 70s, and 80s. So most of these songs are definitely different than what’s on the radio now, but the rhythm, lyrics, beats, & feel of the songs just fill me with so much positive energy. So I hope they bring you as much happiness as they bring me, and if you’re not into it, than I hope you at least like today’s outfit 😉
And of course, some Spanish cause it’s in my Latin blood and soul hahaha…
