4 Ways To Stay Sane With A Hectic Time Schedule X Daniel Wellington

SHOP THE POST

Hey guys!! I’m so excited to share that I’m collaborating with Daniel Wellington for today’s post! I’ve been a huge fan of DW for years now, so teaming up with them was such an awesome opportunity! If you know me, you know I love gold and delicate jewelry! So when they sent me their new Classic Petite Melrose watch & the Classic Cuff  bundle, I was in heaven! Versatility is key for me and this bundle accomplishes just that.  I love how you can wear this set for a casual day out but you can also wear it for a more formal evening event or date night! If you place an order on their site and use the code HELLOOLIVIA you guys can get 15% off!!! Honestly this is the perfect bundle for the girl on the run. Pretty soon when classes and work start up again I’ll be that “girl on the run”, so for this collab I thought it would be fun to share 4 ways to stay sane when you’re on a crazy time schedule!

1. Write things down: It’s horrible…I forget absolutely EVERYTHING unless I write it down on my phone notes or my agenda. Writing things down saves me so much time and keeps me from stressing out. Being able to see everything I have to do and checking it off one by one, is so satisfying! My advice is to keep your to do list practical so you don’t get overwhelmed. With the new year, I actually just picked up a brand new agenda, i’ve linked it up above for you to check out, because it’s adorable haha!!

2. Limit your time on social media: I love Instagram, but I absolutely have to limit my time on it. It’s a great way to get inspo and catch up with friends and family, but I just can’t spend my whole day scrolling forever! To limit my time on IG I really try to just post a picture, close the app, and then put my phone in another room. This way it’s not in my hands and I’m not tempted to check it every 5 seconds!

3. Set the tone for your day first thing: When I know I have a crazy day ahead of me, I really try to set a positive tone first thing in the morning. I wake up a little earlier, make my cuban coffee, enjoy some time watching Good morning America and use some time to pray.  Going into my crazy days a little more relaxed, just makes it easier to conquer.

4. Allow yourself to have a break: You can’t work yourself overtime dude! Breaks are so necessary! Whether it’s a quick break from work where you walk outside for two mins of fresh air, or a longggg hour break from studying, to watch your favorite show or squeeze in a little workout session! We all need some time to just recoup! Making time for you and things you enjoy is so important in your crazy schedule!

First of all, I’m loving this look on you! That is such a classic watch. Also, your tips are so accurate (as always, LOL). I find that having slow mornings with coffee, breakfast, prayer, etc, no matter how busy I am, really does set a positive tone for the day. Couldn’t agree with you more!
